A New York native, and graduate of Brooklyn College and Columbia Law School, Michael Lynne was for many years the Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of New Line Cinema, often cited as one the most critically and commercially successful independent film companies in the world. He is currently a Founder and Principal of the film company, Unique Features. An ardent wine enthusiast, Lynne initially considered buying a vineyard in California, Italy or France, but chose Bedell Cellars and Corey Creek Vineyards on the North Fork for the quality of their wines and for their proximity to his residence.
