Description

We are a small vineyard and lavender and tree farm near Eatonville, Washington in Pierce County. We grow both red and white wine grapes and eleven varieties of lavender, including both English and hybrid. You are welcome to stroll the vineyards and/or lavender field, view Mt. Rainier, use our picnic tables, and experience beautiful lavender without the long drive to Sequim! Based on experiments at the home vineyards, John began his vineyard planting with red grapes including Agria, Saparavi and Leon Millot, and white grapes including Ortega. He continues to experiment, adding new plantings and seeking the best grapes to grow in the Puget Sound Appellation. Lavender planting began in 2003 with 250 Grosso (hybrid) lavender plants purchased from a friend with plants at a Sequim farm. In the next few years, other varieties were added to the new lavender plot, including the hybrids Giant Hidcote, Seal, Edelweiss, Impress Purple, and Provence, and English lavenders called Purple Bouquet, Ana Luisa, Forever Blue, and Imperial Gem.
