Living your dream is part of the nature of those who live in this region. When your dream includes making wine, there is absolutely no better place than Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon. Such is the case with Don Redman, owner and winemaker for Mannina Cellars in Walla Walla. Don’s dream is one step closer to reality with a new facility at the Port of Walla Walla.
The building, located at the Walla Walla airport exit, sits along the northeastern edge of a great micro-region, which includes a number of great wineries, including Dunham, Russel Creek and SYZYGY. Redman’s new building features a simple, barn-like, country simplicity and charm, which is strongly evident both inside and out. Decorated with simple furniture and wall decor, the building fits right in among the whispering ocean of wheat that surrounds the area.
