Lewis Wines

A Texas native from Elgin, Doug began working with Pedernales Cellars in the 2009 vintage while finishing a business degree at St. Edwards University.  During harvest in 2010, Doug began a small side project with some of the extra fruit from 2010’s abundant harvest. During that time, Doug and Duncan founded Lewis Wines, started planting vines with a couple growers across the state, began sourcing fruit for the 2011 vintage, and starting looking for an ideal property to build a winery and later plant vines.
