LaBrasseur Vineyard Claimed

LaBrasseur Vineyard is a completely family owned and operated vineyard and winery. Fred and Candy LaBrasseur, the vineyards’ namesake, could have been enjoying retirement; Fred wrapped up a nearly 34 year career with the Medford Fire Department in early 2011. Instead, they have chosen to pursue the passion and pain of the vine. They wish for their efforts to provide a tangible, lasting, and ultimately enjoyable legacy for their children and grandchildren. Deidra LaBrasseur, Fred and Candy’s daughter, decided to take a chance on the wine business as well. Perhaps someday, her daughter Brynn will work the land and make liquid magic, learning the gratification of well-spent days in the hot sun and sometimes nights spent processing grapes in the bone-chilling cold! Our two families have worked together to build a dream, which involves much more than just running a business together. We have the kind of relationship that is fast becoming a lost art; beyond working side-by-side, we also choose, more often than not, to spend our play time with the people who live “just down the hill”. It’s our philosophy that wine should be enjoyed in a relaxed, friendly place, with relaxed, friendly people.
