With a commitment to exploring Spanish varietals and Spanish-style blends, his focus is on the Iberian trinity: Tempranillo, Garnacha and Monastrell.
These three varietals, which happen to ripen perfectly in our state, form the base for the most highly prized wines on the Iberian Peninsula and when blended with small percentages of Washington’s finest Bordeaux such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec you can understand why. In a word, stunning!
