Durant at Red Ridge Farms

Our roots run deep in Oregon, where we live by the Code of the West. Our parents, Ken and Penny Durant taught my sister and me the value of hard work and inspired in us a love of the land. I have so many memories of planting vines with my mom in the spring, then growing up and learning how to harvest and finally, teaching my own daughters how to plant vines and pick grapes. Every big moment in our lives is defined by this land, the work we do here and the family we share it with. Our winemaker Spencer Spetnagel found his passion for wine in 2000 as a fine dining server in Atlanta, Georgia while attending college. By 2002 Spencer knew: he was never going to work in a cubicle. He decided to move out West and make his passion his work.
