November 1st, 2020 update: Getting out into the countryside, including Shenandoah National Park all around us, with 300,000 acres of social distancing, can be a peaceful and fulfilling activity in times of stress. Adding a flight or bottle of wine can be a nice way to add to your outing, good for body, mind and spirit. DuCard’s grounds are now open. Guests may purchase flights of wine or wine by the bottle to enjoy on our lawn/patio Monday – Thursday 12-5pm and Friday – Sunday 12-6pm. Reservations are recommended and can be made at www.ducardvineyards.com/reservations. We also offer Curbside / To Go wine. Orders can be processed and picked up Monday – Friday 12-5PM. We also offer free local delivery and free UPS shipping for orders of 6 bottles or more. See website for details. IN NORMAL TIMES: Boutique winery in gorgeous mountainside setting near Old Rag Mountain, White Oak Canyon, and Graves Mountain Lodge. Limited quantity, estate grown wines in a relaxed, fun and intimate environment. Music on the patio every Saturday, and lots of special events. We are an ‘authentic’ operation, growing our own grapes with 18 acres of vines on 4 sites, and making our own wine, on site – ‘the real deal.’ Our tasting room features patios with great views of mountains, streams and vineyards, floors and tasting bar made from reclaimed lumber from our barns, solar panels to power our operation and local foods to accompany the wines. Step up your tasting experience with our Shenandoah Wine Flight Program which offers a relaxed seated tasting experience including flights of wine as well as premium cheese, charcuterie, and dessert boards.
