Beliveau Farm Winery Claimed

It started with a dream to make wine. Yvan, a builder, an academic, and a farm boy at heart wanted to grow grapes and blend the art and science of making wine. The Beliveau Farm was purchased in 2001, the first grapes planted in 2009, the first wine produced in 2011 with the winery opening in May 2012.

Joyce has always had a passion for lavender. This incredible herb was first planted on the farm in 2005. Since 2008 the public has enjoyed lavender season from mid-June through July.

The renovated farmhouse opened as a Bed and Breakfast in 2007, the same weekend that the first wedding was held in the newly constructed Event Building. Today, Beliveau Farm is a popular wedding and event venue in Southwest Virginia. Many brides have walked the lavender path on their way to say their wedding vows.

To date well over 100 medals have been awarded for Beliveau’s handcrafted wines. A brewery was added in September 2019 with a focus on producung delicious gluten free beer.

A family friendly area with tables, chairs, and sandboxes beckon the youngest of visitors. Well behaved dogs on leashes are always welcome (outside only).

The 165 acres originally overgrown with brush, and a 1900’s farmhouse once used as a barn, have been transformed into the magic of what today is called Beliveau Farm. Joyce and Yvan invite you to visit this incredible place.
