Historically, the term “apothecary” referred to both the person who manufactured and dispensed medicines (aka, pharmacist or druggist), as well as the shop in which those medicines were sold (aka, pharmacy or drugstore). The apothecary’s main purpose is to aid in the curing of ailments, both big and small.
With this in mind, a Hopothecary is a “hop” apothecary. We specialize in the manufacturing and dispensing of craft beer, especially the hop-forward varieties. Our brewmaster formulates delicious concoctions for people afflicted with the “Thirst”.
