Description

It’s a family affair at Foley Brothers Brewing in Brandon, Vermont. Father, Bob Foley and wife Rhonda bought The Inn at Neshobe River in 2006 and started the Neshobe River Winery. Five years in to running the family winery he recalls the younger Foley generation began experimenting making beer, first with ginger wheat and brown ale and Foley Brothers Brewing was born in 2012. Siblings Pat, Dan and Christine were the founders. While working in the family winery Pat and Dan traveled and worked in wineries in California, New Zealand and South Africa. Christine Lea, Patrick’s wife hails from Durban South Africa and has been an integral part of the business since the very beginning. The flagship Double IPA, Fair Maiden is named after Christine!

Robert Foley Jr., The oldest brother is also working with the family. “I advise them not to do it,” says Bob who is a professor of Business Planning & Marketing at Rochester Institute of technology and teaches students in China several months a year. “They were persistent with the idea. They came up with a 45 page Business Plan and have never looked back,” Bob shared.
