Erie Canal Brewing Company

Erie Canal Brewing is a Farm Brewery using local ingredients. Our production brewery is located in Canastota on James Street with a Taproom located at 135 S. Peterboro Street in Canastota. 

We offer our own brews and the brews from our sister brewery. Seneca Street Brew Pub in Manlius, NY

The Menikheim Family bought Erie Canal Brewing Company, in the fall of 2015. The purchase of Erie Canal Brewing Co. represents a small shift in the Menikheims ambitious plans to establish a vertically integrated, “field-to-glass” beer operation . 

 Our beer is made with hops grown from our own farm and our grain from local craft malt houses. We want to have more control over the process so that the line of beers that we offer are completely unique.
