Drop the H Brewing Company

Mark McClain attended high school in Germany where the legal drinking age was 16. He and his friends frequented a good many biergartens. After becoming an Air Force KC-135 pilot, Mark spent his spare time creating his own biergartens. He perfected his technique over several decades, serving literally thousands of pints to friends and family alike. When Mark decided to go pro, he enrolled in the Seibel Institute’s certificate program, studying the chemistry of brewing. He combined this educational endeavor with a Business of Beer course of study at the University of Vermont. They are now featuring Mark and Drop the H Brewing Company in their blog! To round out his preparation, Mark studied with Goodfella’s Pizza School of New York. Currently, a Delta Airlines captain, Mark is spending his spare time creating craft brews for the people of Pittsburg. Owning a brewpub is truly a dream come true for Mark!
