We are Aztec Brewing Company. Inspired by those who brewed before us we set out to revive this historic San Diego brewery.
2021 is a special year for us for a couple of reasons… We are blessed to be back after a challenging pandemic that forced us to partially suspend operations for almost 14 months.
This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the original Aztec Brewing Company, started a century ago in Mexicali, Baja California in 1921. We are celebrating all year long with a series of limited edition retro beers, based on original recipes from the 1920’s and 1930’s.
We are also celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the new Aztec Brewing Company with new brews and live music at our Vista Tap Room. Our anniversary event will be held Sat. Sept 4 featuring live music, tacos and of course, our great craft brews.
From refreshing kick back session beers, to brews that will kick back, we offer a range of styles with seasonal and limited specialties on tap exclusively in our Vista location
Live music has been an integral part of our DNA at Aztec. We are all musicians and artists and know how much joy music can bring into our lives. We’re proud to support local musicians, food vendors and the San Diego beer scene with an intimate venue and tap room. Let’s face it, live music and fine craft brews are a great combo to get your feet tapping and let your spirits soar.
