From a long line of winemakers, vintner Michael Izzo grew up with wine in his blood. Thanks to his father and grandfather, homemade wine was a fixture at the Izzo family dinner table. Although winemaking initially started as a hobby for Michael, it quickly grew into a full-blown obsession. He became fascinated with all aspects of the process, from sourcing and fermenting to aging and finishing. Hence, Vinizzo. In 2013, Michael and his wife, Kristie Loscalzo, founded the winery and tasting room in their beloved town of Sea Cliff, New York. Since opening its doors, Vinizzo has been known for its warm-hearted approach, commitment to community and great-tasting wines.
