River’s Bend Winery

Donald Hughes, the owner of River’s Bend Winery and Vineyard, was raised in Columbus, Georgia. As a young adult, he ventured out to Texas where he met his wife Lee and raised two children. While in Texas, he started to develop a taste for the local wines and began visiting wineries every chance he got. He eventually decided it was time to move back to Georgia, where he purchased a quaint little piece of property in Troup County. River’s Bend Winery and Vineyard, along with a small blueberry orchard, is nestled on 10 scenic acres and is family-run by Donald and his daughter, Amanda.
