Mazza Chautauqua Cellars is the sister winery of our main production location in North East, PA, Mazza Vineyards, which was established in 1972. Mazza Chautauqua Cellars winery & craft distillery was established in 2005 and opened in 2006 in Mayville, NY, near the Chautauqua Institution. The distillery at Mazza Chautauqua Cellars was the first in the region, stemming from our interest in producing spirits for our fortified wines and fruit eaux de vie. Demand for distilled products grew, and the expansion of the distillery became an obvious next step.
In the Summer of 2013, the distillery moved to the new Mazza Chautauqua Cellars / Five & 20 Spirits in Westfield, NY, where 80 acres of farmland is allowing it to grow into a unique grain-to-glass operation. The focus remains on creating fine wines along side small-batch, quality craft-distilled products. Now, with the expansion of our distillery into a distillery/brewery in 2015, we are proud to be the first location of our kind in NY to offer locally produced wines, spirits, and beers all under one roof!
