Homestead Vineyards & Winery- Grapevine

In addition to our Ivanhoe facility, our winery in historic downtown Denison, bottles Sherry, Port and Red Wine. The Denison tasting room offers visitors an opportunity to sample and purchase our wines. Denison enjoys a rich history in wine making. In 1880, Denison’s T.V. Munson helped save France’s vineyards by sending thousands of bundles of North Texas grape rootstocks to the Charante Region of France. French scientists and grape growers grafted their native grape varieties to our disease-resistant rootstocks. To this day, Denison enjoys a special Sister City relationship with Cognac, France.
