Hartwood Winery Claimed

Hartwood Winery is 30 years old. We’ve been open since 1989, serving fine Virginia wines. Our Hartwood vineyards are even older, first planted in 1980. We invite you to come and visit us in the beautiful Fredericksburg countryside. Be sure to bring your children. All are welcome, and our fields are ready for your little ones to explore while you are exploring our wines. In addition to the wines, we offer light snacks and beverages. We have a wide assortment of wine gifts for that wine lover in your life. Enjoy wine and cheese on our deck or around the winery grounds or bring a picnic. We are also dog friendly. Throughout the year we have special evens on site including guest wineries, music, barrel tastings, etc. Check our list of events or visit our website for upcoming festivals and music. Come and enjoy Hartwood’s warm hospitality and award winning wines. We are also a part of the The Grapes and Grains Trail! Visit us or any of the participants locations to purchase your tickets and your commemorative glass (currently $25.00) which covers all six stops. Visit each one on the trail, and get your ticket “punched”. Each location has special offerings and discounts for you! Hartwood Winery, Mattaponi Winery, Lake Anna Winery, Potomac Point Winery, Rogers Ford Winery and A. Smith Bowman Distillery. The Trail ticket is good for one year from the date of the purchase of the ticket. This is a wonderful way to sample the Virginia wines and spirits available to you.
