Owners Denise and Chris Nelson moved to Kentucky from Texas in 1996 with a desire to find a beautiful site in the country to build their dream home, plant a few grape vines, and develop their vision to create a small winery to showcase what Kentucky could add to the world of premium, locally-produced wine. Over the last quarter century this bold vision has been realized and expanded, with the addition of a distillery focused on producing premium Brandies and Rum, and a restaurant offering wholesome, delicious, hand-crafted cuisine by utilizing the best locally-grown, organic, all-natural ingredients available.
