A great view and a smooth glass of wine both are part of the experience that the new owners of Cedar Hills Vineyard and Gardens want to share with their visitors.
Heidi and Clay Schutz of Grand Island purchased the winery and vineyard from founders Paul and Joyce Sears in July. The Sears have been growing grapes, berries and a variety of other fruit at Cedar Hills since 2003 but started scaling back in recent years and put the winery up for sale last winter. Around the same time, the Schutzes were tossing around the idea of starting a winery of their own.
