Our Diamond Mountain Cabernet is grown at 1800 feet in elevation on a rugged slope at the top of the Diamond Mountain. This location, combined with the loamy volcanic light colored soil create a unique, rich and bold wine. The aromatic profile consists of ripe blackberry, fresh boysenberry, nutmeg, allspice and dark roast coffee. The palate is rich and supple, consisting of flavors of mocha, vanilla, cedar spice, bramble berries, cigar box and toffee. The tannins are indicative of the mountain location, being broad and firm but already well integrated creating a lovely structure with a long, lingering finish.
