It is our personal belief that the best grapes for making Provençal-style Rosé come from the Sierra Foothills. The summer’s radiant heat assures a presence of bright fruit flavors and the soils, rich with decomposed granite, help create the crisp minerality and seashell-like salinity that we find delicious in Rosé. Plus, the Foothills never sold out and still have all the cool and weird varieties we all love.
