Nella Terra Cellars

Nella Terra means “In to the Earth” in Italian. The company was named and started with the intention of building a wine cave and we hope to someday see this legacy come to fruition. We are focused on the land and soil, studying the ritual of the vines to create quality estate grown fruit. We sit above the Livermore Valley in the Sunol Highlands at 1,100 ft getting a maritime breeze off of the San Francisco Bay creating a generally cooler climate than the rest of the Livermore Valley AVA. Native stone was used to create the grand staircase through the vineyards to our event area, if you look closely, you’ll see small seashells embedded in the rocks when the area was all under water thousands of years ago adding to our unique terroir.
