Mastro Scheidt Cellars

Founded by David Scheidt in 2007, Mastro Scheidt Family Cellars is named for his ancestors, the Mastrogiacomos, on his mother’s side, who immigrated to California from Southern Italy in the early 1900s, and the Scheidts on his father’s, Prussians who immigrated from the Volga River valley. Mastro Scheidt Family Cellars has grown to nearly 1000 cases bottled under the Mastro Scheidt label. David is a self-taught winemaker who acts as a consultant for wineries, restaurants, private brands, and sommelier focused wine projects.
