Jose loved this particular property he felt at peace and felt as if he could “speak to God.” Our family was devastated when we lost Jose. He was a gregarious man that worked hard and played hard. Humble and down to earth, he enjoyed food, music, dancing, people, and most importantly good wine. His smile would light up the room. Despite being heartbroken and feeling the great loss, we decided to find a way to honor Jose, his life, his passions, and to keep his spirit alive. It was an arduous journey to get the project started and completed however our love for Jose is what kept us going and still is what keeps us going today. Our mission is for people to walk in as strangers and leave as family. For people to enjoy the majestic scenery, create beautiful memories, and to enjoy our wines which we make with great joy and passion. It is our pleasure to welcome you to, Jose Wine Caves Winery.
