Description
Phil Randazzo, patriarch of the family-owned and operated winery, is a self-taught winemaker. Phil and his wife Mary, along with their children, Tony and Kristina, and daughter-in-law Lori, and son-in-law Christian carefully create each bottle of Coyote Moon’s award-winning wine.
At Coyote Moon Vineyards, winemaking is not a passion, it’s an obsession, and it starts from the ground up. The family carefully pays attention to details, because it is the little things that make award-winning wine. Everything from the pruning, to fruit selection through hand-harvesting, to label painting is done with purpose and passion. With such attention to detail, Coyote Moon Vineyards has quickly become one of New York’s most award-winning wineries.
The 400-acre farm located on East Line Road in Clayton, New York is home to Coyote Moon’s vineyards. Prior to becoming a vineyard, the land was an abandoned farm. The Randazzo Family revitalized it into the burgeoning vineyard it is today.
