Calais Winery

Texas wines took the top five slots with the lone French entry coming sixth. The two California entries occupied the bottom two positions in the rankings. The top wine is Ar Taste what results when winemaker Benjamin Calais combines his French heritage with a love for Texas. In conjunction with Texas Winegrowers and its acceptance into the membership of Wine Origins, we support the promotion and protection of the integrity of Texas’ terroir. We do this by making wines solely from Texas grapes and affirming that a wine’s true origin be clearly identified on its label.
