Baldassari Family Wines

We source our Syrah grapes from Nolan Vineyard in Bennett Valley, Sonoma County. Bennett Valley has large areas of ancient volcanic soil that is well drained and provides the right balance for grapevines in order to grow high quality wine grapes. The area is also a cooler grape growing region due to the gap adjacent to the Sonoma Mountain which allows cool fog to dump into the valley and blanket it most nights. The result? Long growing seasons and concentrated fruit with deep color and flavors. Our Syrah is inky purple, bursting with dark blackberry fruit and rich in texture.
