Aver Family Vineyards

Our dream of owning a vineyard and starting a winery became a reality in 2005, when we were fortunate to find a magical 8.25-acre vineyard nestled in the beautiful Uvas Valley in the Santa Clara Valley AVA. We opened our scenic outdoor tasting room in 2011 where we enjoy hosting friends old and new, as they discover our Rhône varietal wine.

Susan Aver: When you arrive, you are warmly greeted by Susan, John’s mother, who is instantly recognizable by her iconic red lipstick that frames her charming smile.

Carolyn Aver: Carolyn lends her warm and generous hostess skills to our tasting area, she also supplies her business acumen that she honed as a CFO for publicly traded companies in the Silicon Valley.

John Aver: John is fulfilling his role as Vigneron by tending the vineyards using holistic farming practices to bring each grape to its fullest potential and crafting the wine to the highest standards in state-of-the-art facilities.

Our team: Our staff is like our family. They bring a wide range of wine knowledge and world experience to the tasting room. Their goal is to provide a memorable experience when you visit Aver Family Vineyards.
