MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, MI – Unruly Brewing Co. plans to move production out of a downtown Muskegon basement and into a facility in Muskegon Heights.
The brewery purchased a 17,000-square-foot building at 2221 Lemuel St. in Muskegon Heights a few months ago, said Unruly co-owner and brewmaster Eric Hoffman on Monday, Aug. 13.
The Muskegon Heights City Council will consider the company’s request for a microbrewer’s license tonight, Aug. 13. If approved by the city, the license application will go to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission for approval.
Unruly has been brewing in the basement below its taproom at 360 W. Western Ave. since 2013.
