A bit of backstory

On March 3rd, 2017, Silver Lake Brewing Project opened for its first public service at 14 Borden Ave. The story of getting to that milestone is a little unusual.

Those who observed as the project worked to get traction know that it took a lot of effort, and time to incubate. The wheels were turning among a small group of interested future customers (some of whom became investors, and some of whom became managing members) as early as 2012.

The business, like the building it lives in, also has no small amount of pure and simple hard labor behind it—poured in by craft-beer-loving, highly committed individuals who really, really wanted a brewery right where this one has opened.
