Beginning his professional career in 2002, Rockne Van Meter studied his craft and became highly respected within the industry and known for his dedication to making quality beer true to style.
Rockne has held several brewing positions over the years, and for the past 15 years has been the Head Brewer at Bastone Brewery in Royal Oak, MI. After amassing over a dozen Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup awards, Rockne was awarded the highest honor in the brewing industry, the Brewers Association Brewer of the Year award in 2014.
Living in the Grand Blanc area for over 15 years now, Rockne has enjoyed the atmosphere, cuisine, and craft beer at Redwood Steakhouse and is committed to keeping the time honored tradition of making award winning beer here at Redwood Steakhouse and Brewery.
