Opening a brewery has been a dream for husband and wife team, Phil and Ellie Mabe since they met at UNC in 2005. They began their brewing career with a five gallon home brew setup in a tiny apartment. After over a decade of working and partnering in breweries and event venues in Lake Tahoe – California, the couple moved back to their hometown of Wilmington to open a brewery of their own.
