Sitting directly across from the Beaufort Visitors Center and the Beaufort Historic Site, our building housed the Beaufort ABC store in the 1940s, the iconic Net House Restaurant, and most recently Old Salt Restaurant.
We purchased the building in early 2017 and quickly began renovations, curious to see what we’d learn in the process. The interior walls were covered with vertical siding made from old heart pine. Builder Mike Daly removed this old wood and has reused it beautifully as the ceiling for our front outdoor patio, the table tops for the taproom, our back-bar top, and in various accent places throughout the brewery.
