Diner Brew Co. is a Westchester, New York-based farm brewery & cidery, founded by Chris Sheldon in 2016. Diner began years before, when Chris started brewing beer in his college dorm (and it turned out better than what was available at the local college bars). As so often happens with “hobbies” Chris was hooked on brewing beer and cider, and began growing his manufacturing capacity when he returned home to New Rochelle. With the help of his childhood friend, business partner, and current lead engineer Sam Farber-Kaiser, Diner Brew Co. was born.
After taking some time to learn the art of brewing and selling beer at The Westchester Homebrew Emporium, Gristmill Distillers, and joining the Westchester Homebrewers Organization, Chris became one of the founding members of the Dogs of Wort homebrewing club and brought two more people into the Diner family. Eric Andrada, Diner’s Cellar Man and Lead Technician, was always around to keep operations running smoothly, and completing the team is Meredith Bronzo, the Director of Operations for the newly-opened taproom and Diner’s other mobile offerings.
