Craft Advisory Brewing

Our journey to opening a brewpub started when I bought Martin a Christmas gift containing a homebrew book and all the supplies he needed to brew three different batches of beer.

Feeling excited to make his first batch, he asked his friend Donny to come over and help. Donny was an experienced homebrewer, so he brought over his equipment and the first brew day began.

Just as the water was heating up I had to leave to pick up our son, but when I got back I was a bit shocked by what I found. There was an empty box and lots of empty little packages laying around. I asked where all the grain went since it was meant to brew three different batches to which they replied, “In the pot! We are brewing beer!” Well, you have to drink your mistakes, but it turned out to be a delicious, dark stout.

We still brew this stout, which we have affectionately named Yep! because when asked if this grain goes in the pot, the response was always, “Yep! Throw it in there.” Yep! was the first beer we brewed here at Craft Advisory Brewing, as well. We love it and we hope you enjoy it, too.
