Steve and Megan graduated from Sycamore High School. They were married in 2009 and started making beer in 2010 While attending Illinois State University. They moved back to DeKalb in 2013 to start growing their family. They have 3 daughters and still live here in DeKalb
Getting Into Brewing
Our passion for brewing began when one of our favorite beers was discontinued. We wanted to recreate the beer that we could no longer buy. While studying science in college, we enjoyed homebrewing. The science of brewing quickly became an obsession.
