Ah…the story of us. There’s too much “Us” to write about, so we’ll just get down to the Nitty-gritty of who we are and how we started brewing great beer.
The story begins with John and Kristine Boothe. Formally co-workers, now a married couple living in Spencerport, NY with their three children along with 3 dogs, a duck and a lot of chickens.
Now on to the story of the beer. Many a moons ago, John got to assist in brewing his very first batch of beer on the back of a pick-up truck with his brother in-law while our pit bull licked the foam overflowing the 5 gallon carboy. From that point on, he was hooked. He ordered his very first homebrew kit, a bunch of empty bottles, and took over the kitchen to brew HIS first batch of beer on his own. As time went on, the equipment got bigger, the recipes were more precise and Kristine got her kitchen back as operations had moved into the garage. A few years later, an entire outbuilding was dedicated to brewing beer. He continued his research to perfect his recipes and enjoyed many great beers with a lot of good friends and family. For those of you that don’t know John, he takes a lot of pride in everything that he does and will accept nothing short of perfection. Now that the recipes have been perfected, there was nothing left other than to open a brewery to share our brews with all of you.
