In 2016, three friends sat down over a beer and began the plans for Bright Penny Brewing. After looking at several cities in the RTP and Piedmont area of North Carolina, Mebane quickly rose to the top of the list of locations as being one of the fastest growing municipalities in North Carolina. In 2017, downtown Mebane was named a Top 5 Great Place in NC. The outpouring of support from the community has been overwhelmingly positive which confirmed our choice in coming to Mebane.

Come enjoy a local beer tasting and check out the menu, which boasts a “Grandma’s Eggs” section with creative and delicious deviled eggs to sample as well as Mason Jar cheesecakes. Wine is also offered as well as homemade pizzas including a gluten free option. Live music is often playing at Bright Penny Brewing so be sure to check out the schedule.
