From Tijeras to San Marcos, the Turquoise Trail was first traveled by Native Americans, and later used by Spanish explorers to travel through the mountainous terrain. A few centuries later, the 1800s gold rush brought brave pioneers to the trail searching for gold. Their discovery led to something much more iconic to New Mexicans… turquoise.
Much like the turquoise industry in the late 1800s and early 1900s fueled growth in Albuquerque, the brewing industry has been a bright light of growth in the Duke City. Turquoise Trail Brewing aims to reflect the diversity and history of the Trail itself in its beer production. We also offer a select variety of local beer on tap, echoing the amazing beer scene Albuquerque has to offer.
