Our story starts in 1965 when our head brewer (my dad) Steve went to Germany to reconnect with family and go to college. He got a job working at a 500 year old Bavarian brewery and soon realized becoming a head brewer took decades; but learned all he could to make a fine German beer. He started home brewing after we moved back to the United States.

Fast forward to present day, Steve still enjoys brewing beer and has passed that joy to his family. My dad and I have always talked about owning and brewery and after I retired from the Air Force in 2015 we felt it was time to realize our dream. My husband Scott and I, and our five children were all wanting to get into a family business.

In August of 2020 we decided to purchase Trusty Brewing Company and haven’t looked back since. We will be keeping many of the great beers you’ve come to know and love at Trusty, but are also excited to share our extensive list of our own recipes which will be on tap soon.
