Like many brewery origin stories, we started from humble beginnings in a home basement. The seed was first planted after branching off together from a business venture that didn’t pan out. Meeting for the first time and collectively coming together to form the foundation of our business.
Trinken, meaning ‘to drink’ in German, was settled upon for our name with the desire to follow those tried and true German styles and traditions. Also, Tyler’s family resides in Hanau, Germany, of which we pay homage to with our flagship brew, Hanau Hefeweizen.
As the planning stages for Trinken Brewing Co. progressed, we continued the momentum of positive support from all of our family and friends. The build out of our first tap room space was a labor of love, with many showing up to construct the intimate space you may have made your pilgrimage to today. With the grand opening date set, no one could have foreseen the proverbial brick wall we would run into following that very opening.
