The New York State Farm Brewery Bill was designed to increase demand for locally grown products to create new businesses surrounding the brewing industry. Under the new law the beer must be made primarily from locally grown farm products (at least 60% starting in 2019).

At The Beer Diviner, we have always recognized the importance of the local–from the farmers who we buy barley and grains from, to the carpenter who gets a free pint for fixing our leaky roof, to the hops we pick outside the brewery’s front door. The food we serve is also sourced from our local community of farmers
