The name Ten55 is derived from the Roman numerals MLV, which were the initials of a beloved family member & friend whose passing brought together beer-loving locals Chris Squires and JP Vyborny (that’s us). In 2013, with a shared desire to honor the zest and zeal of our fallen friend through creative brewing, we started making beer in an 800 sq. ft. industrial space in South Tucson with just six bar seats. After five years of crafting, building, loving, and growing we fulfilled our dream of opening a brewpub in Historic Downtown Tucson in 2018.
The brews we make are a modern take on old-world styles, incorporating fresh ideas and ingredients into tried-andtrue brewing techniques. Our dedication to quality beer-craft carries over into our kitchen, and our menu pairs traditional pub favorites with delicious & innovative beer focused fare. It is our goal to share the love and passion for incredible food and amazing beer we got from MLV with you, our friends and neighbors. We hope it makes you as happy as it makes us.
