Our namesake and lineage comes from the Snowy Mountain Range that frames this humble brewery. Operating as the 3rd oldest, active brewery in Wyoming which opened under the name of Sierra Madre on January 1, 1995, and later changed to Snowy Mountain Brewery. We brew our beers true to old world techniques with a bit of our own style added for distinction and unique flavors.
We use the finest quality ingredients in the brewing process. It’s not just the world-class ingredients and extra care that makes our craft beer superior; it’s the way we brew it. Brewing is part science and part art, as well as a delicate craft. Each of our beers has a story: how it was planned, created, changed and even labeled to make a single product we are proud of.
