Redbeard Brewing was founded in 2013 by Jonathan Wright, with his wife Fara joining the business after their children started school. Jonathan is our Head Brewer, creating all recipes and doing all brewing, Fara is our Cellarman, overseeing packaging as well as fermentation maintenance. In addition to operating the Brewery and Taproom they also manage the property Redbeard resides in, after purchasing it in 2017. Jonathan and Fara met in 1999, when they worked on the theatrical production “Heads” together in Richmond, VA. Both have Fine Arts degrees in Theatre.
