The long holiday weekend is nearly here and we are gearing up for a trio of amazing beer releases! First up in our hat trick weekend release lineup is a tribute to our friends up in Pawtuxet Village with the kickoff of the 250th anniversary of the burning of the HMS Gaspee. Burn Gaspee Burn is our new experimental exotic grain mixed culture lager which weighs in at 6.3% ABV and was brewed to maximize the amount of thiols which are high aroma-active compounds derived from hops that can give very intense fruity flavors. This delicious lager pours straw colored and hazy with fine lacing. The nose is a bounty of tropical and stone fruits. On the palate the complexity of this beer is clear, with a contrast of sweet and tropical fruit, with a medium body and dry finish. The result is a crushable refreshing lager!
