ABOUT OFF-KILTER

Located in South Beloit and founded by Jim Goecks in 2015, Off-Kilter Brewing was named after the philosophy of brewing traditional recipes utilizing the practices of European immigrants from 1800’s and early 1900’s and adding a subtle craft brewing twist. That is how he came up with the tag line “Old World flavor with a modern slant.”

Soon after the craft beer revolution began to flourish, Jim discovered a gap between the classic pilsner beer drinkers and those who seek out the skull splitting IPA’s of the brave new craft beer scene. Off-Kilter fills that gap with rich flavorful beers that let you enjoy the malt richness with a smooth finish lacking the harsh bitter aftertaste found in most beers.

Off-Kilter’s calling is to create a new legacy in craft brewing, beer that not only quenches your thirst but can be shared with friends in front of a fire pit with great conversation. Maybe paired with your favorite meal or any other activity you enjoy with close friends or family.
