As a Mechanical Engineer in real-life, I naturally fell into the roll of brewery handyman, aka “Charlie-work”. In addition to spending time in the crawl-space insulating pipes in the dead of winter, or on the roof cleaning gutters in the heat of summer; I have gotten plenty of opportunities to grow as a wanna-be woodworker and amateur fabricator, making several unique pieces for the taproom including; the “mug boards”, ND bench hardware, and the stainless Murray Street sign above the tap-handles. If I’m not at the brewery perched precariously trying to fix something, or sipping on a Horseshoes & Hand Grenades; there’s a good chance I’m riding a bike on a local mountain-bike trail or gravel road.
